The mistake is basing clients in one beach town for a week. The fix is a two-base split: 乌布 for culture, rice terraces, wellness and jungle villas, then a southern beach town — 水明漾 for style, 苍古 for surf and cafés, Uluwatu for clifftop luxury, or Sanur/Nusa Dua for calm and families. Is a private driver necessary in Bali? For touring, yes — Bali’s roads are busy and the best sights are spread out. We provide English-speaking driver-guides, which is far better value than taxis for a touring day.
